ELMHURST - Danielle Wagner has been named the new assistant principal of academics, director of curriculum at IC Catholic Prep effective July 1.
“We are excited to bring someone of Ms. Wagner’s background and experience to our school,” said Stephen Davidson, incoming principal of IC Catholic Prep. “Her commitment to Catholic education, student success, teachers and their work, and her willingness to build on traditions of IC Catholic Prep were all demonstrated throughout the interview process. We are eager to welcome her to our team.”
Since 2014, Wagner has been the assistant principal for academics at Saint Joseph High School in Westchester. She has extensive experience in teacher professional development, curriculum optimization and mapping, and making connections with her school community. Prior to her role at Saint Joseph, Wagner taught for seven years at Saint Patrick High School in Chicago
“Ms. Wagner will be a fantastic addition to our administrative team and the Knights’ Family,” Davidson said. “Her leadership experience in academics and curriculum aligns well with the work we have already begun at IC Catholic Prep. Her compassion for students and teachers makes Ms. Wagner the perfect person for the job. We are blessed that she will be a part of our school.”
Wagner received a master of arts in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University Chicago and a bachelor of arts in English and secondary education from Marquette University. She also holds a learning behavior Specialist endorsement from Lewis University.
