The DuPage County Health Department reported 111 new cases of COVID-19 April 4 including two more deaths.
There are now 606 total cases of COVID-19 in the county and 19 deaths, according to county health officials.
The latest two inviduals who sucumbed to COVID-related illnesses were a female resident of a Carol Stream long-term care facility over 100 years of age, who had underlying conditions; and male resident of a Carol Stream long-term care facility in his 70s with underlying conditions, according to the health department.
The 88 outbreak-associated cases, including 13 deaths, among DuPage County residents include 42 cases, including seven deaths, at a Willowbrook long-term care facility; 25 cases, including six deaths, at seven other long-term care facilities; and 21 cases attributed to 10 outbreaks in other congregate settings and large gatherings.
