“Now, more than ever. Even if you’ve never tried our food, or did a long time ago, I think we’re giving the best product we’ve ever had … this is what it's about. It’s community and we’re asking for help,” Link said.
Amid these tough times, they say the outpouring of generosity has been astounding.
“It’s the times we’re in right now. We’re all in this together,” Verde said.
Diners can continue supporting Dolce, Neat Kitchen + Bar, J. Fleming’s Absolutely Delicious, Uncle Bub’s and The Sweet and Savory Spot by calling ahead to order the special meals, gift cards, beer and wine purchases or additional carryout options.
They hope to expand and include more restaurants in this effort, offering more options for diners to enjoy.
Through it all, these restaurant owners are looking forward to grand reopenings when normalcy is restored, whenever that may be.
“I want my Bub’s family back in a bad way,” Link said. “I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it. We’ll be excited to be back.”
