The band has been on the road for the past 11 and a half years. It's most recent album is titled "10 – The Errant Night,” in honor of the group's 10th anniversary.
Lambert-Ryan spoke from New Orleans, where the quintet is making two new music videos. RUNA recently met with Native Americans in Oklahoma to share music and culture, and the tour next was headed to Alabama and Florida before making its way to Illinois and the Midwest.
All the while, the musicians are honing material for a live album attuned to the new lineup of players.
In concert, they will play some selections from "10," as well as a few pieces from way back in the beginning that they haven't performed in a long time, she said.
"We have a fantastic time," Lambert-Ryan said of their shows, noting audiences are invited to sing along and get up on their feet to dance. "When we travel together, we feel like a family on the road, having a house party on stage. [It just ] happens to be in a different place every night. Join us in a party."
