My companion, a devotee of deviled eggs, couldn't resist trying the buffalo chicken variety on the menu. The Burger Social stays true to the traditional term deviled and really ratchets up the spiciness of the seven-piece appetizer.
I opted for the "award-winning chili" as it's described on the menu, and was rewarded with a superb cup of beautifully balanced, only mildly spicy chili, sporting both ground meat and good-sized chunks of beef complemented by a light touch of beans, a few macaroni morsels, tasty kernels of corn, tomato, onions, melted cheese and green onion garnish. Our server brought the spicy corn tortilla strips on the side. The smoky-flavored recipe certainly won my seal of approval and has been added to a personal list of chili standouts.
The Midwest-sourced, hand-formed burgers come in a variety of tasty options. The Angus beef blend is a juicy combination of brisket and chuck.
The menu also features salads, sandwiches, taco of the week, alternative protein burgers and a Beyond Burger option among its dishes.
