I couldn't resist trying the 486 Penn salad, featuring lots of my favorites – salmon, mixed greens, bacon, pecans, citrus segments and colorful red and golden beets. Our helpful server had the kitchen split it for the two of us. It arrived pretty as a picture and popped with flavor, beautifully accented with a delicate citrus vinaigrette.
The numerous salad options include a fall quinoa with baby kale, cranberries, butternut squash, spiced pumpkin seeds, French feta and pomegranate vinaigrette. Another is the poached pear salad composed of arugula, baby spinach, golden raisins, candied walnuts, Manchego and champagne vinaigrette.
