ABOUT: College of DuPage College Theater presents "The Foreigner," the Obie Award-winning comedy by Glen Ellyn's own late playwright Larry Shue. Charlie Baker, a melancholy and shy Englishman, joins his friend Froggy Le Sueur on a business trip to the U.S., landing at a fishing lodge in Georgia. Charlie does not want to talk with strangers, so Froggy tells his hosts that Baker is from an exotic country and knows no English. When Charlie becomes privy to devious plots, he must step up and be the hero. Connie Canaday Howard directs. The show has adult language and themes. There will be a pre-show discussion with the director and designers Feb. 28, and a post-show discussion with director, actors and crew March 8.
