ABOUT: Berwyn's 16th Street Theater will present Melissa DuPrey’s "Brujaja." Directed by Miranda Gonzalez, it kicks off the 2019 Pop Up New Play Reading Series. DuPrey’s work is described as sharp, wildly comedic, centering on disenfranchised voices, and in itself an act of radical love. "Brujaja" is a play about an accidental witch, who finds that brujería holds more responsibility and power than she realized.
