A year ago, Dickinson suffered a a season-ending lower-body injury in Wheaton North’s final regular season game. He missed the Falcons' two playoff games and sat out the entire basketball season.
Dickinson, a senior cornerback, was cleared to resume his full workout schedule nearly four weeks ago. Dickinson said one of the few positives from his injury stemmed from concentrating on his upper body.
“I feel good now and healthy,” he said. “My therapy was pretty much every day, just doing that and upper body as much as I could, so I could be in the best shape I could be. Once I was cleared to run, I started doing that, too. It was rehab, rehab and rehab for me. Upper body was all I could do for awhile. My bench press and all that good stuff went up pretty significant.”
