GLEN ELLYN – A “Criminal History Record Information Training Symposium for Non-Criminal Justice Users” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 14 at the Jack H. Turner Conference Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., according to a college news release.
The symposium aims to assist people using criminal history record information in regards to hiring and licensing childcare and healthcare workers, government and school employees, and other staff.
Topics include relevant methods, inquiries and records, as well as legislation and procedures.
The training is sponsored by the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification with the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at College of DuPage and the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police.
Cost is $25. Registration is due April 4.
