Charges filed against seven for drunken driving

Seven motorists were charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol in separate incidents recently, according to Bolingbrook Police.

Anselmo Perez, 30, 2415 Ogden Ave., Unit No. 1, Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, driving with a revoked license and disobeying a traffic signal at about 11:15 p.m. March 31 on the 200 block of North Bolingbrook Drive, police said.

Mario Pena, 38, 426 Devonshire Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a revoked license, driving without insurance and driving with one headlight at 10:45 p.m. March 30 on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, according to police.

William Lodding, 20, 2900 Autumn Drive, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession of alcohol by a driver and reckless driving at 5 a.m. March 30 on the 500 block of Feathersound Drive, police said.

Michael Wozny, 30, 227 Juniper Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, having a defective muffler and improper lane use at 1:45 a.m. March 30 on the 100 block of East Boughton Road, reports said.

Robert Gargus, 33, 1640 Prairieview Court, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance and driving with one headlight at 2:30 a.m. March 28 in the vicinity of Schmidt Road and Buckeye Lane, according to police reports.

Daniel Shuma, 21, 8416 Shagbark Court, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and failure to yield while exiting a private drive at 2 a.m. March 28 near North Bolingbrook Drive and Boughton Road, police said.

Edward Kavanagh, 24, 233 Malibu Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, having expired registration and disobeying a traffic signal at 2:15 a.m. March 27 at North Bolingbrook Drive and Rockhurst Road, according to police.

Romeoville man charged with nine counts of forgery

Mohammad Suleman, 20, 1215 Santa Fe Road, Unit 302, Romeoville, was charged with nine counts of forgery at 2:30 p.m. March 27 after police were called to National City Bank, 254 S. Weber Road, for reports of a suspect trying to cash fraudulent checks, police said.

Vehicle reported taken from parking lot

A two-door, black 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass was reported taken from the 600 block of Preston Drive after midnight April 2, police said.

Snowplow blade taken from business

According to Bolingbrook police, a yellow snowplow blade was taken from a business on the 700 block of West Crossroads Parkway after Feb. 27. The blade, valued at $7,500, was reported stolen March 27, according to police reports.

Cameras, shoes reported taken from residence

Two digital cameras and a pair of gym shoes, items valued at more than $550, were taken from a residence on the 300 block of Highpoint Court after 10 p.m. on March 28, police reports said.
