Cigarettes reported missing
A resident in the 5700 block of Main Street reported that on the morning of July 22 one of the front lamps in his garden was moved and there was an empty can of Geisha Fancy Smoked Oysters on the front steps of his house, according to police.
Police said the man also noticed a lawn chair near the garage and a carton of cigarettes from his car parked in the garage were missing. The loss is estimated at $50.
Cars reported burglarized
Police said two cars parked in the 4500 block of Middaugh Avenue were burglarized between 12:30 and 4:30 a.m. July 23.
Police said items missing from the cars include MP3 players, a navigation system, gift cards and cash. The total loss is $1,020.
Car damaged
Police said a car parked in the 4700 block of Pershing Avenue was damaged between 10 p.m. July 24 and 7 a.m. July 25.
Police said a rear window and the left rear tail light of the car were broken using a piece of stone. The damage is estimated at $1,000.
Window broken
Police said a car was damaged between 9 p.m. July 24 and 6 a.m. July 25 while parked in the 7800 block of Rohrer Drive. Police said a flower planter was thrown through a car window while it was parked in a driveway. Damage is estimated at $750.
Wire reported missing
Police said a truck parked in the 4700 block of Seeley Avenue was burglarized between midnight and 3 p.m. July 25.
Police said a spool of green grounding wire was missing. The spool has about 2,500 feet of wire on it and weighs 300 pounds. The loss is estimated at $1,000.
Car reported burglarized
Police said a car parked in the 700 block of 73rd Street was burglarized between 4 p.m. July 25 and 11 a.m. July 26.
Police said $10 in change was missing from the car.

Bicycle reported stolen
Police said a bicycle, valued at $200, was reported stolen between 9:30 and 9:35 a.m. July 29 in the 100 block of Hiddenview Drive, police said.
Damage, graffiti reported
Police said two small engines and the side of an air conditioner were vandalized and damaged overnight July 28 in the 600 block of East 65th Street. Damage was estimated at $1,200, police said.
Man faces drug charges
Keith D. Campbell, 42, of Chicago was charged with possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant for domestic battery after being arrested at about 1:30 p.m. July 27 along the 300 block of West 60th Street, police said.
Domestic battery alleged
Anne M. Lesko, 23, of Westmont was charged with domestic battery after police said she allegedly struck another person at about 8:15 p.m. July 26 in the 400 block of North Grant Street, police said.
Vehicle damaged
Police said car windows were smashed during the overnight hours of July 24 while it was parked along the 300 block of Cass Ave. Damage is estimated at $800, police said.

Mailbox damaged
A mailbox was damaged with an unknown object at about 7:30 a.m. July 26 in the 8800 block of Oxford Street, police said.
Fire burns portable toilets
An arson in-progress was discovered at about 5 a.m. in Castaldo Park at 3024 71st St., police said. Reports state two Porta-Potties were found completely melted, along with the fence panels surrounding them. Police said the roofs and doors of two adjacent Porta-Potties had also melted.
Laptop stolen
A laptop computer was stolen between 4 p.m. July 23 and 8 a.m. July 24 in the 10000 block of Werch Drive, police said.
License plate missing
A license plate was stolen from a parked car between 9 p.m. July 22 and 5:30 a.m. July 23 in the 2400 block of Waterbury Drive, police said.
Garage, cars vandalized
A garage door and two vehicles were tagged with spray paint between 10:15 p.m. July 20 and about 4:15 a.m. July 21 in the 1900 block of Egerton Court, police said.
