Two bicycles reported stolen

Two bicycles were reported stolen within about 24 hours of each other Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, according to police reports.

A boy’s bicycle, left unattended, was reported stolen from the 1700 block of West Boughton Road after 9:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

A second bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive after 9:45 p.m. Nov. 1.

The bicycle, described as red and black, also was left unattended.

Three thefts to residences reported over four-day period

Three thefts to residences were reported over a four-day stretch Oct. 2 through Oct. 5, according to police reports.

Two video game systems, a 15-inch screen color television set and two stereo speakers, items valued at more than $1,500, were reported stolen some time after 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 from a home in the I Lot of Fernwood Drive.

A compact disc stereo and a 13-inch screen color television were reported stolen some time after 4:30 p.m., Oct. 4 in the 200 block of Douglas Way, according to police.

A computer system, computer games and several DVDs valued at more than $1,000 were reported stolen some time after 4:30 p.m. Oct. 2 from a residence in the 511 Building of Preston Drive.

Assault charge for Bolingbrook man

Manuel Gonzalez, 20, 464 Falconridge Way, was charged with aggravated assault, domestic battery, possession of alcohol by a minor, operating a vehicle with suspended registration and driving with no driver’s license after police were called to the 400 block of Falconridge Way for a report of a “domestic situation,” according to police reports.

Police charge three with DUI

Three motorists were charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol in separate incidents recently.

Terry Mason, 46, 178 Valley Drive, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving while license revoked following a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m., Nov. 8 in the 300 block of West Lily Cache lane, police said.

Carlos Quintero, 26, 2603 Nicholas Court in Plainfield, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal, disobeying a traffic signal and driving without lights following a traffic stop at 12:45 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, in the 500 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, according to police reports.

Jose Perez, 32, 346 Gehrig Circle, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a license, and driving without insurance following a traffic stop at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, near Boughton Road and Hywood Lane.

Burglaries to three vehicles reported

Woodridge police said three burglaries to motor vehicles were reported between Nov. 3 and Nov. 11.

Between 8 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 11:15 a.m. on Nov. 11, someone broke the rear window of a vehicle and made off with cash and clothing valued at $400 in the 7800 block of Woodward Avenue, according to police reports.

Some time between 6:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Nov. 8 a wallet was removed from an unlocked vehicle in the 2600 block of Internationale Parkway, police said.

A cell phone and compact discs valued at more than $600 were reportedly removed from a parked vehicle some time between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Nov. 3 in the 6500 block of Illinois Route 53, police said.

Downers Grove woman faces DUI charge

Ina Noreen, 39, 6301 S. Walnut Ave., Downers Grove, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving an uninsured vehicle, failure to signal and improper lane usage at 3 a.m. Nov. 5 after police made a traffic stop in the 9900 block of Lemont Road, police said.
