Lisle's League of Women Voters is hosting the director of an Illinois fiscal policy think tank at its next meeting.
Ralph Matire, executive director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, will speak at the group's Thursday meeting.
"Education Funding: Equity and Educational Opportunity" starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Downers Grove Fire Department Administrative Building, 5420 Main St.
Martire is also an appointee to the U. S. Department of Education Equity and Excellence Commission.
