Electronics stolen
A home was entered between 10 a.m. Oct. 17 and 8 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 6500 block of Woodward Avenue, police said. A flat screen television, Xbox 360 and games and a laptop computer were reported missing, according to reports.
Police said the homeowner came home after leaving for the weekend and said the door was locked and no signs of forced entry when he arrived home. The windows were open and no signs of forced entry were seen, according to reports.
The total value of the items is about $3,750, according to reports.
Car stolen from residence
A Honda Accord, valued at $3,500, was taken between 4 p.m. Oct. 21 and 9:55 p.m. Oct. 22 from a residence in the 5400 block of Carpenter Street, according to reports.
Police said they responded to the residence for burglary and the victim’s son said he was watching the house while his parents were on vacation. When he arrived Oct. 22, the back door window was busted and unlocked, police said.
He went inside and found the car keys for his parents’ car were gone along with the car, which was parked in the driveway, according to reports.
Electronics, jewelry stolen
Numerous electronics and jewelry were taken between 8:05 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. Oct. 21 from a residence in the 5200 block of Florence Avenue, according to reports.
Police said an HP laptop, PlayStation game system, game controller, three PlayStation games, seven necklaces and three rings were taken from the home.
The total value is estimated at $3,380, according to reports.
Police discovered no forced entry, according to reports. The homeowners left for work and came home and found a door unlocked, police said. The homeowners believed the doors were locked before leaving for work, according to reports.
Westmont
Two arrested for burglaries
Police said two juveniles were charged with burglary to a motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol by a minor, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and curfew violation.
The juveniles were arrested after a report of a car burglary at about 11:55 p.m. Oct. 28 in the 200 block of Deming Place, police said.
According to police, the juveniles allegedly entered unlocked cars in and around the Ashford Subdivision and stole car stereo and athletic equipment.
Police investigate stabbing
Police said a they responded to a report of a fight in progress at about 10 p.m. Oct. 28 in the 6700 block of South Lake shore Drive.
According to police, a victim was walking along the sidewalk when he was approached by a group of people who exited a car. A fight occurred, and the victim suffered a stab would, police said. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was transported to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The case is under investigation.
GPS unit reported taken
Police said a navigation unit and a stereo receiver, valued at $350, were reported stolen from an unlocked car during the overnight hours Oct. 28 in the 400 block of South Warwick Avenue, police said.
Man faces DUI charge
Vincent Biancalana, 23, of Arlington Heights was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 11:55 p.m. Oct. 26 near the area of 63rd and Richmond streets, police said,
Intoxication alleged
Polly M. Meyers, 33, 420 N. Wilmette Ave., Westmont was charged with attempted child endangerment after police said she attempted to take responsibility of a minor child while she was intoxicated. The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at Manning School, 200 N. Linden Ave., police said.
Police make drug arrest
Efrain Fernandez-Pou, 46, 3810 N. Park St., Westmont was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana after being arrested at about 8:20 p.m. Oct. 24 near 41st Street and Cass Avenue, police said.
Property damaged
Maurice L. McFadden, 23, of Naperville was charged with criminal damage to property after police said he allegedly kicked a door. The incident occurred at about 12:55 a.m. Oct. 23 in the 6700 block of South Tudor Lane, police said.

Man nets theft charge
Jerrod Wilson, 20, of Downers Grove was charged with retail theft after being arrested at about 9:30 a.m. Oct. 26 at Jewel-Osco in the 2317 75th St., police said. Reports state officers found him with two electronic cameras later discovered to be stolen from Jewel-Osco.
Man charged with theft
Stephen Babbington, 35, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing a pair of shoes at about 6:15 p.m. Oct. 24 from Kohl’s located in the 1001 75th St., police said.
Vehicle vandalized
Someone stole the windshield wiper blade and let the air out of all four tires of a car between 7 p.m. Oct. 23 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 6400 block of Double Eagle Drive, police said.
Retail theft alleged
Rickey Archibald, 43, of Westmont was charged with retail theft after being arrested at about 4 p.m. Oct. 24 after allegedly stealing various clothing items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.
Store theft reported
Richard Dedic, 19, of Downers Grove was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing two items at about 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 from Dominick’s in the 2363 63rd St., police said.
Beverages not paid for
Police said several people left an unnamed restaurant without paying for drinks totaling about $80 at about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 1900 block of 75th Street.
Property damaged
Someone damaged the outer frame of a door by attempting to pry it open between 4 and about 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at an unnamed business in the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.
Clock, jewelry stolen
Jewelry, a clock and other miscellaneous items were stolen between Oct. 15 and Oct. 21 in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.
Teen nets theft charge
Jacquelyn Massarello, 18, of Downers Grove was charged with retail theft after being arrested at about 8:15 p.m. Oct. 20 after allegedly stealing items from Dominick’s in the 2363 63rd St., police said.
Two charged with theft
Fatima Cruz-Martinez, 24, and Juana Cruz, 34, both of Woodridge, were charged with retail theft after being arrested at about 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said. Reports state each stole miscellaneous items valued at about $350 without paying for them.
