Art historian presents Getty Villa transformation

The Indian Prairie Library, 401 Plainfield Road, Darien, will host the presentation of “The Getty Villa: Pacific Paradise” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The event features Jeff Mishur, an art historian, who will present the transformation process of the Getty Villa in Malibu, Calif.
Getty Villa was converted into an educational center and museum, which now informs visitors on art and culture of ancient Greece, Rome and Etruia.
