Big Run Wolf Ranch will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 18, 14857 Farrell Road, Lockport.

Admission is $2 per person, and includes presentations and up-close encounters with wolves, coyotes, bear, cougar and other wildlife. The event will feature food, beverages, merchandise, music and drawings.

The open house will take place rain or shine.

The ranch is a federally licensed, not-for-profit educational refuge that provides face-to-face contact with wolves, cougar, coyotes, bear and other wildlife.

The ranch houses about 10 wolves — including a Britich Columbian Timber Wolf — and is available by appointment throughout the year for groups.
