ESO, AAUW art show part of fest lineup

The Elgin Area Branch of the American Association of University Women presents its 48th annual Art Showcase, a centerpiece of the city of Elgin’s FoxFireFest, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2 and 3, in Festival Park, South Grove Avenue, Elgin.
The fine art and craft show features 60 artists from across the Midwest. The festival offers nonstop music and entertainment (The Buckinghams, The Outlaws, FoxFireFest Idol and a waterfront fire show), food and children’s activities.
Admission is free to all events, including the concert by the Elgin Symphony Orchestra 7:30 p.m. Friday .
