Mario Tricoci Hair Salons and Day Spas, the official hairstyling and color partner of Fashion Focus Chicago, will bring beauty into focus with the “Mario, Make Me a Model!” campaign to discover Chicago’s next modeling star.

Celebrity judges, including Mario Tricoci, will select five of the freshest faces to walk the runway in Millennium Park at Fashion Focus Chicago 2008. Each of the finalists will receive a makeover from Mario Tricoci Hair Salons and Day Spas, modeling training by Ford Models and personal training with Equinox Fitness Clubs in preparation for the show. The excitement culminates with a fashion spread in Chicago magazine with photographer Matt Ferguson before the final judging on the runway at Fashion Focus Chicago this October.

The winner of “Mario, Make Me a Model” will receive a five-night trip for two to Mexico’s Riviera Maya through Apple Vacations and other prizes. All the finalists will be considered for a modeling contract and a photo shoot.

Women and men 18 and older are invited to attend the open calls at various Mario Tricoci locations. The next session will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, in Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E.
