Mark and Cindy Devries of Marengo, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Devries, to Patrick Kerrigan, son of Kevin and Linda Kerrigan of Burr Ridge.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Marengo High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University in 2003 and a master’s degree in school leadership from Concordia University in 2007. She is employed with Rondout Elementary School in Lake Forest, Ill.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Northern Illinois University in 2002. He is employed as a branch manager at Wells Fargo Financial in Vernon Hills, Ill.
The wedding is planned for June 2009 in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva, Wis. The couple will reside in Round Lake, Ill.
