Margaret and Josef Hess of Townsend, Wis., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 13, 2008, with a champaigne brunch at William Tell in Countryside. The couple was married July 12, 1958, in Chicago.
The Hesses have two children, Thomas (Beth) Hess of Plainfield and Linda (Thomas) Brown of Lemont; and three grandchildren.
