Edward and Joan Campbell of Downers Grove announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Michele Marie Campbell, to Joseph Patrick Grindstaff, son of Gordon and Carole Grindstaff of Mooresville, Ind.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lafayette High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science from Colorado State University and a doctor of nursing degree from Bastyr University in Seattle. She is employed as a doctor of naturopathy at the Comprehensive Medical Center in Kirkland, Wash.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Monrovia High School. He earned an associate’s in arts degree in music and a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Indiana University. He also earned a master’s degree in information sciences from Ball State University. He is employed as a project manager at EED, a Seattle software company.
The wedding is planned for August 2008 in Volunteer Park Dahlia Garden in Seattle. The couple will live in Seattle.
