“The Planets” concert 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, Wheaton College, Edman Memorial Chapel, northeast corner of Washington and Franklin streets. The Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra will perform “The Planets” in conjunction with a multi-media show created by award-winning astronomer and videographer Jose Francisco Salgado. $6 adults, $4 seniors and students. Fundraiser

Home Tour fundraiser Hinsdale/Oak Brook Area Branch of the American Association of University Women, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5. Features five home in the Hinsdale area. Proceeds support the AAUW Educational Foundation and Local Scholarship Fund. $35 through Oct. 4; $40 day of tour. Day of tour tickets available at The Community House, Hinsdale. Advance tickets may be purchased at these retail locations: Char Crews, Hinsdale Wine Shop, Yankee Peddler, Just Ducky and Luv It. “Spooky Stories of the Season”GreenMan Theatre Troupe, 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3 and 4, Masonic Lodge, 103 Arthur St., Elmhurst. First half of the program will feature family friends stories and songs, appropriate for older children, fifth grade and up.
