Adventist Hinsdale Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Lesia Douglas, RN, to vice president/chief nursing officer.
Douglas has more than 10 years of nursing leadership experience and has served as interim chief nursing officer since January. Prior to that, she was director of patient care services at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.
“Lesia has a real passion for service and quality patient care and exhibits servant leadership at its best,” said Todd Werner, CEO of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. “I am confident that she will serve this organization, its employees, physicians and communities with distinction.”
Before joining Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Douglas served as the director of women’s services at Parker Adventist Hospital in Denver. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northern Illinois University and expects to complete her master’s in business administration from Colorado University in the next few months. Douglas, 47, is a resident of Hinsdale.
