Wheaton, IL -

The DuPage County Health Department will offer free HIV screening at a Wheaton church Saturday, Nov. 14.

The testing runs from 9 a.m. to noon. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 515 S. Wheaton Ave.

The church has worked this year to raise HIV and AIDS awareness. For this event they are partnering with The Mosaic Initative, a Wheaton-based group dedicated to prevention and education of the disease.

The screening is an oral process. A finger stick or swab collects a test sample from the gums and inner cheek. The test is free and open to the public.
