County to hold document-shredding events

DuPage County, IL -
DuPage County is holding two events where residents can have personal documents shredded free of charge.
Participants will be able to place their documents into a secured container, which is then run through a shredder. A video screen on the side of the truck will allow a viewing of the documents as they are shredded.
There is a limit of three paper grocery bags or three small boxes per vehicle.
The events will be held on the following dates at the following locations:
• 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sept. 13, north Metra parking lot, Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park;
• 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Oct. 4, County Administration Building south parking lot, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.
