Jaime Escobedo, 39, of West Chicago, was arrested for aggravated assault on the 1200 block of Kings Court at about 3 a.m. Aug. 4, police said.

Car damaged
Someone damaged the windshield, four windows, a rear window and a taillight on a 1993 blue Ford vehicle on the 400 block of Church Street at about 3:15 p.m. Aug. 3, police said.

Woman arrested for theft
Mauro Reyes, 37, of West Chicago, was arrested for attempting to cash a lost check Aug. 3, police said.

Theft and drug arrest made
Oscar Munoz-Medina, 18, of West Chicago, was arrested for retail theft and possession of marijuana on the 100 block of Arbor Avenue at about 6:15 p.m. Aug. 2, police said.

Window damaged
Someone broke the rear window of a vehicle parked on the 700 block of East Grandlake Boulevard at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2, police said.

Vehicle burglarized
Someone stole a pink Motorola Razr cell phone and an Alpine car stereo from a 1999 Saturn parked on the 1000 block of Nuclear Drive between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 2, police said.

Briefcase stolen
A briefcase left in the back seat of car parked on the 1000 block of Prairie Crossing was stolen at about 6 p.m. Aug. 2, police said.

Unlocked vehicle burglarized
A purse, wallet and cell phone were all taken from an unlocked Lincoln Navigator parked on the 500 block of Fieldcrest Drive at about 10 a.m. Aug. 1, police said.

Domestic battery reported
David L. Gwinn, 21, of West Chicago, was arrested for domestic battery on the 1000 block of Orchard Court at about 7 p.m. July 29, police said.

DUI arrests made
Sean P. Hannon, 24, of unincorporated West Chicago, was cited for speeding and driving while under the influence of alcohol near the intersection of routes 64 and 9 at about 2 a.m. July 29, police said.

Benjamin Luis-Hernandez, 19, of West Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in an alley behind the 200 block of East Blair Street at about 4 a.m. July 29, police said.

Jorge Lopez, 25, of Warrenville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a revoked license near the intersection of Joliet and Blair streets at about 5:45 p.m. July 29, police said.
