ADVANCE for Nurses news magazine announced Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield as one of the select top hospitals in the publication’s second annual readers’ choice survey for the Greater Chicago and Metro Areas of Wisconsin and Indiana.
Voting was open to registered nurses who ranked hospitals in areas that matter to nurses: quality of care, organizational culture, professional development, communication and retention efforts. CDH excelled in professional development, quality of care and retention efforts.
ADVANCE provided a list of nearly 272 hospitals in the region and invited readers to rank their facility by responding to 10 statements in five different categories on a 1- to 5-point scale. Nurses from across the region voted in the unscientific online poll, which was available on the ADVANCE for Nurses Web site from March through July. The Readers’ Choice results will be featured in the next issue.
ADVANCE for Nurses, a biweekly magazine, presents articles and features for registered nurses of all specialties. The magazine also features clinical information, local nursing coverage, a large listing of available job opportunities and the latest product news. In addition to nursing, ADVANCE covers a variety of specific healthcare disciplines such as respiratory care, physical therapy and sleep medicine.
