The city of Wheaton might soon become home to a popular fast food restaurant called Chick-fil-A.
On Feb. 1, the Wheaton City Council approved an ordinance to issue a special-use permit for a planned unit development of a Chick-fil-A restaurant at 301 E. Loop Road.
Between 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected to fall today — and another 5 to 7 inches could fall through Wednesday evening, bringing total snow accumulation up to a foot, according to the National Weather Service. The messy weather made today's morning commute a bit hairy, and promises even dicier rush hours tonight and tomorrow morning.
