New teachers breakfast to be served Aug. 19

La Grange, IL -
The West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry and area business leaders will host the 43rd Annual Welcome Breakfast for New Educators at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19. at the Brookfield Zoo Discovery Center.
More than 135 new teachers and new administrators from school districts 95, 101, 102, 103, 105, 106, 107, 204, LADSE and Nazareth Academy will be hosted.
Guest speaker Randy Vickery, a managing partner with Freeborn & Peters LLP and local La Grange resident, will share a personal story of how teachers helped him rise from extreme poverty in rural Georgia to become a successful partner in a major law firm.
School District 103 Superintendent Michael Warner will be the guest master-of-ceremonies.
