La Grange Library to host big band era program Tuesday

La Grange, IL -
The La Grange Public Library will host Big Band Memories at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Band leader and La Grange Park resident and band leader Steve Cooper will present films and video of the most popular performers and songs from the Big Band era.
Featured footage from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and the Coconut Grove in Los Angeles. Cooper will also talk about his personal experiences with famous bands and celebrities he has performed with.
The evening ends with Cooper performing a big band classic on his trumpet.
Registration is not required for this free program.
