Parents, staff and community members have the opportunity to review and comment on Community Consolidated School District 181 Board of Education draft policies that have been placed on public display prior to an adoption vote.
The eight draft policies include ethics and gift ban act, board member development, payment procedures, use of credit and procurement cards, accounting and audits, activity funds, school year calendar and day, visitors and conduct on school property.
Policies are available for review at the following locations:
Clarendon Hills Public Library, 7 N. Prospect Ave.;
Hinsdale Public Library, 20 E. Maple Ave.;
District Administration Center, 1010 Executive Court, Suite 100, Westmont; and

Comment forms are available at all locations. The public also may comment by sending an e-mail to the School Board at BOE@d181.org.
The policies will be on display until Thursday, Sept. 18, and will be voted on at the Monday, Sept. 22 business meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Hinsdale Middle School, 100 S. Garfield Ave.
