BRUNO

Like he did with the hilarious “Borat,” Sacha Baron Cohen takes another of his goofy alter egos (this one is a gay, eurotrash fashion reporter) on an uproarious adventure in which he punks unsuspecting rubes into exposing their bigotry and/or stupidity.

BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE

A vampire named Saya, who is part of a covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in post-WWII Japan, is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon in disguise.

I LOVE YOU BETH COOPER

In not much of a stretch, “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere plays a cheerleader, albeit one unable to reanimate herself. Rather, she’s the object of the horny affections of the class valedictorian (nerd stereotype alert!), played by Paul Rust, who hits the jackpot when she agrees to spend graduation night gallivanting with him.

HERB & DOROTHY

This much-buzzed-about documentary tells the incredibly true story of Herbert, a postal clerk, and Dorothy Vogel, a librarian, who amassed a valuable collection of art works for a pittance.

THE HURT LOCKER

Director Kathryn Bigelow is drawing early Oscar buzz for her Iraq War epic about a team of soldiers assigned the dangerous task of defusing roadside bombs. Anthony Mackie and Brian Geraghty star.
