Tigers win two of three in tennis quad

Tigers girls tennis won two of three games in the West Aurora tennis quad Saturday, defeating West Aurora 5-2 and Waubonsie Valley 6-1, but falling to York 5-2.
Freshman phenom Emma Li won all her singles matches, including Wheaton South’s only singles win over York against Maria Avgerinos 6-4, 7-5. Li also played doubles with Melanie Milling in the win against Waubonsie Valley. Milling and Andrea Kerwin scored the only doubles win against York.
The Tigers also defeated their crosstown rivals Wheaton North 4-3 on Sept. 24.
