Superintendent Mike Meissen of Glenbard High School District 87 will update the community on the district’s progress for the 2008-09 school year at his year-end report Monday, June 22.
The presentation will discuss the status of the district’s strategic plan, which focuses on giving students the tools they need to succeed, and the goals of the high schools.
Meissen began these year-end reports as a way to keep the school and outside communities knowledgeable of the district’s actions, said Peg Mannion, the district’s community relations coordinator.
“These are community schools,” Mannion said. “We want the community to keep in touch and be informed about what’s happening in the schools.”
The year-end report will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the District 87 administration center, 596 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
