Wheaton police are looking for a suspect in a burglary reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street early Thursday, July 3 morning.

The suspect was described as a 25-year-old man. He was carrying a knife and a flashlight, according to police reports.

He entered the apartment through an unlocked door at about 4 a.m. when residents were sleeping, reports state. He took a wallet and currency and fled on foot, reports state.

Detectives have not determined if the case is related to a string of other burglaries in Wheaton last week.
