A long-running art exhibit depicting scenes from the New Testament is showing again at Wheaton College’s gallery.
“The Life of Christ: The Drawings of Robert Doares” opened in late June and will run through February at the Billy Graham Center Museum, 500 College Ave.
The collection includes 49 pencil drawings and five oil paintings depicting biblical scenes. The exhibit, on loan from Good News Publishers in Wheaton, is appearing at the college for the sixth time since 1992.
Doares produced most of the series between 1978 and 1991. He died in 2005.
The museum is open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. General admission is $4, $3 for students, $1 for children younger than 12 and $10 for families.
