Downers Township man charged in residential burglaries

An unincorporated Downers Grove Township resident has been charged with residential burglary after being investigated for multiple incidents.
Christopher Kaduk, 44, of the 8200 block of Woodglen Lane, is alleged to have committed 12 residential burglaries between Aug. 31 and Sept. 19 in the area of Lake in the Woods Condos and Mallard Landings subdivision, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
Kaduk would approach the residence, ring the doorbell and then enter the unoccupied homes, according to police.
He is currently being held on a $500,000 bond, and his next scheduled court date is 8:30 a.m. Nov. 3 in DuPage County Circuit Court, according to police.
