Fence vandalized

Police said a fence along the south side of Prentiss Creek Building M, 2133 Prentiss Drive, was spray-painted prior to 9:30 a.m. on June 3. Police said damage is estimated at $250.

DUI alleged

A man was charged with drunken driving after being arrested at about midnight June 4 in the 400 block of Rogers Street. Police said Jon J. Shupe, 43, 450 Rogers St., Downers Grove was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Man charged with DUI

A man was charged with drunken driving after being arrested at about  1 a.m. June 5 in the 900 block of 63rd Street. Police said Edwin M. Roman-Rodriguez, 27, of Woodridge was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license, speeding, improper lane usage and driving in the wrong lane.

Car burglarized

Police said a car parked in the 700 block of Ridge View was burglarized between 12:30 and 9:30 a.m. June 5. Police said money and an iPod were missing. The loss is about $320.

Bicycle stolen

Police said a bicycle locked to a rack at the Main Street Depot train station, 1000 Burlington Ave., was stolen between 10:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. June 5. The loss is about $530.

Woman charged with DUI

Colleen M. O’Neill, 21, 5508 Webster St., Downers Grove was charged with drunken driving after being arrested at about 3 a.m. June 5 at 55th and Webster streets. Police said she also was cited for speeding.

Man faces DUI charge

A man was charged with drunken driving after being arrested at about 2:30 a.m. June 6 at 55th Street and Lyman Avenue.

Police said Mark A. Rodriguez, 28, of Indian Head Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license is suspended and improper lane usage.

Church damaged

Police said a window at the Downers Grove Community Church, 6600 Fairview Ave., was shattered between 1 p.m. June 7 and 4 p.m. June 10. The damage is about $475.

iPod taken from car

Police said a car parked in the 6100 block of Brookbank Road was burglarized between 10:30 p.m. June 6 and 10 a.m. June 7. Police said and iPod valued at $300 was missing.

Navigation unit missing

Police said a car parked in the 1100 block of 61st Street was burglarized between 10 p.m. June 6 and 9 a.m. June 7. Police said a navigation unit on the dashboard was missing. The loss is about $120.

Arson reported

Police said a portable toilet at Concord Park, 1632 Concord Drive, was tipped over and set on fire at about 2:30 a.m. June 7. Police said the fire department arrived and extinguished the fire.

Revoked license alleged

Police said Curt V. Cleveland, 38, 5222 Blodgett Ave., Downers Grove was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked after being arrested at about 8:30 a.m. June 8 in the 800 block of Maple Avenue.

DUI alleged

A man was charged with drunken driving after being arrested at about 12:45 a.m. June 11 at Main and Franklin streets.

Police said Gregory H. Smith, 57, 6028 Brookbank Road, Downers Grove was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage.

Westmont

False report filed

Yolanda F. Brown, 42, of Carol Stream was charged with disorderly conduct after police allege she filed a false police report. The incident occurred at about 7:55 a.m. June 4 along the 6300 block of Cass Avenue, police said.

Rims reported stolen

Police said four tires and rims, valued at $6,728, were reported stolen from a business in the 200 block of East Ogden Avenue. The incident was reported during the overnight hours of June 2, police said.

Domestic battery alleged

Ronald L. Porcellus, 58, of the 800 block of Revere Court, Westmont, was charged with domestic battery after police said he allegedly choked another person. The incident occurred at about 10:15 a.m. June 2 at his residence, police said.

Computer stolen

Police said a laptop computer and case, valued at $3,200, was reported stolen from an unlocked car during the overnight hours of June 2 in 400 block of Philadelphia Avenue, police said.

Traffic stop yields arrest

Kimberly K. Wagner, 30, of Burbank was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 11:15 p.m. May 31 near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Dowers Drive, police said.

Man charged with DUI

Michael S. Reynolds, 47, 5808 Spring Side, Downers Grove was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested after being pulled over at about 8 p.m. May 30 near the intersection of Richmond and Quincy streets, police said.

Car reported damaged

A passenger side car mirror, valued at $400, was reported taken from a car between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. May 29 in the 600 block of Pasquinelli Drive, police said.

Reckless driving alleged

Robert B. Beseth, 19, 8248 Cambridge Court, Downers Grove was charged with criminal damage to property, reckless driving and fleeing and eluding police. The incident occurred after Beseth was arrested at about 12:30 p.m. May 29 along the 0 to 100 block of 64th Street, police said.
