Concert series set to resume at Ty Warner Park

The Westmont Park District is set to resume its Concerts in the Park music series this month with a variety of live music during the summer.
The event will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, with the music of The Runaways, which is described as a the songs of the 1950’s. Concerts are held at the Ty Warner gazebo, near Plaza and Blackhawk drives.
Other concerts will be held each Wednesday evenings, with the exception of July 1. Residents are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and there is a limited number of picnic tables at the park. Parking is available in the south or west parking lots.
