Children’s author and illustrator Kevin O’Malley, will lend his story-telling and artistic abilities to a special program at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Westmont Public Library.

O’Malley has won an esteemed Monarch Award: Illinois’ K-3 Children’s Choice Award for his book Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude. His numerous books contain tales and escapades of all types of characters along with the author’s own illustrations. 

During the presentation, O’Malley will explain how he started drawing and why he writes children’s books.

This all-ages, one hour program is free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.  Funding was generously provided by the Friends of the Westmont Public Library in cooperation with the Miller Elementary School PTO and Miller School.
