Westmont offers free electronics recycling disposal

The Village of Westmont will hold an electronics recycling drive next month that allows residents to safely dispose of their unwanted electronic items at no cost.
This program, a joint effort of the village , DuPage County and the Westmont Park District, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Ty Warner Overflow Parking Lot, 660 N. Blackhawk Drive.
Items that will be accepted include: Old computers and computer equipment, power supplies, office equipment, fax and communication equipment and other electronics.
DuPage County has partnered with SIMS Recycling Solutions in order to bring this free residential collection program to County residents.
