The Westmont park District will hold their annual Holly Days Decorating Day, which organizers said is the unofficial kickoff to the month-long Holly Days Festival in Westmont.
The event will be held throughout the day Nov. 22 at the Westmont Park District Community Center, 75 E. Richmond St., and the adjacent Veterans Memorial Park.
While the highlight of the day will be businesses, families and community group decorating trees they sponsor in Veterans Memorial Park, other events will be held during the day.
Events will include the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Center, 55 E. Richmond St. The cost is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for children 12 and under.
The annual craft bazaar will be held in the Community Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the food drive will be held from noon to 2 p.m. behind the Community Center. All are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate that day.
