Westmont offering free document shredding

The village of Westmont and Docu-Shred, a Westmont business, will host a free paper shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 14, in front of the Westmont Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy St.
Residents will be allowed to bring up to two banker boxes of sensitive paper records and materials, which will be shredded and destroyed on site during the event. No plastic materials will be accepted.
Docu-Shred is offering this once a year service at no charge to the village and its residents. For more information, contact Todd Baryl of Docu-Shred at (630) 986-5411.
