Emily Rosado and Brandon Richards were married Aug. 8, 2008, in the DoubleTree Guest Suites in Downers Grove. The ceremony was presided over by Judge Edmund Barts. The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Nancy Bemis of Darien. The groom is the son of Mark Richards of Chicago and Donna and Karl Mahler III of Chicago.
Emily chose Kimberly Terranova as her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Hajek, Lori Bemis, Kristie Polidoro and Tracilyn Nitti.
Brandon chose Dan Schewe as his best man. The groomsmen were Jerry Bemis and Ron Arias.
The bride is a graduate of Hinsdale South High School. She is employed as an assistant front desk manager at DoubleTree Guest Suites in Downers Grove. The groom is a graduate of De LaSalle High School. He attended Northwestern Business College and Northern Illinois University. He is employed as an assistant controller at Pheasant Run Conference Center & Resort in St. Charles.
The couple traveled to Wisconsin during their honeymoon.
