John and Cheryl Roeters of Darien and Mark and Marilyn Vonnahme of Darien announce the engagement of their daughter and son, Jillian Roeters and Kurt Vonnahme.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hinsdale South High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University in 2000. She is employed with Plastic Film Corporation in Romeoville.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Downers Grove South High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematical methods in social sciences from Northwestern University in 2002. He also earned a master’s degree in education from DePaul University in 2006. He is employed as a math teacher at Hinsdale South High School in Darien.
The wedding is planned for June 2009 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Darien.
