VFW Post 10778 in Western Springs is sponsoring a fundraiser to support LTTV as thanks for all the work they do to assist local veterans.
Francesca’s Bellezza in La Grange, 75 S. LaGrange Road, is donating 15 percent of diners’ bills made between 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Thursday to LTTV.
Among the many productions organized by LTHS, LTTV documents the annual Memorial Day parade and observance in Western Springs, filmed last year’s Honor Flight veteran interviews and homecoming and produces and tapes the monthly “Veteran Viewpoints.”
The TV Club is raising funds for various equipment purchases and to attend the National Association of Broadcasters convention in spring of 2012.
