A pair of different faces will grace the coaching staff next year at Wheaton Academy.

Scott Marksberry, a 2002 graduatate of Union University in Tennessee, will be the Warriors' new girls soccer coach while Jeff Brooke, a 2002 Wheaton Academy alum, will take over as boys soccer coach.

The two replace Dave Underwood, who leaves the school at year's end to become the men's soccer coach at Sterling (Kan.) College.

Marksberry, who will also be a business/computer science teacher, is a resident of Tennessee but has been affiliated with the Chicago Eagles Soccer Ministry in Wheaton, serving as the Eagles' head coach and summer camps director in 2004 and 2005.

While at Union University, Marksberry was a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and a National Christian College Athletic Association academic and All-American in 2000 and 2001.

Brooke, 24, is a former all-area athlete who graduated from Taylor University in 2006. He is an assistant on the girls soccer coaching staff and was the sophomore boys head coach the past two years.
