Obstruction arrest made

Nicasio Lopez, 23, of West Chicago, was arrested for obstructing justice following an incident near Sherman and Church streets at about 6:45 p.m. Oct. 2, police said.

iPod and car stereo stolen

Someone stole a stereo and iPod from a 1992 blue Volkswagen Jetta parked on the 600 block of Meadowview Crossing at about 8:30 a.m. Sept. 30, police said.

Vehicle burglarized

An iPod was stolen from a 1997 Mazda while it was parked in the high school parking lot between 7:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2, police said.

Man arrested for battery

Arturo G. Cruz, 26, of West Chicago, was arrested for domestic battery on the 400 block of East Blair Street at about 2:15 a.m. Oct. 4, police said.

Copper stolen

An undisclosed amount of copper wire was stolen from a construction site on the 500 block of Shingle Oak Drive before 7:30 a.m. Oct. 3, police said.

DUI arrests made

• Luis Rojas, 23, of West Chicago, was arrested on two counts of driving while under the influence, driving without a valid driver’s license and illegal transportation of alcohol following a fight on the 200 block of North Neltnor Boulevard at about 5:45 p.m. Oct. 5, police said.

• Santiago Navarrete, 23, of West Chicago, was arrested on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, hit and run, driving with a suspended license and on two outstanding warrants, on the 800 block of Pine Street at about 11 p.m. Oct. 6, police said.

Golf equipment taken

Someone stole a set of golf clubs, a golf bag, shoes, an umbrella and a Sony camera from a vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Alamance Drive between 8 p.m. Sept. 27 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 3, police said.
