Five arrested on charges of DUI

Juan M. Martinez, 22, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol near Ann and Joliet streets at about 5:15 p.m. Oct. 28, police said.
Salvador Pina, 40, of Aurora, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a crash near Route 59 and Garys Mill Road at about 6:45 p.m. Oct. 30, police said.

Diego Gutierrez, 20, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol on the 1000 block of South Oak Street at about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 31, police said.

Juan Torres, 27, of Elgin, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol near Route 59 and Michael Browning Way at about 4:30 a.m. Nov. 3, police said.

Edward Gunter, 51, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol near Route 64 and Prince Crossing Road at about 7:15 p.m. Nov. 3, police said.

Domestic battery arrests made

Michael J. Allen, 27, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call on the 400 block of Joliet Street at about 3:15 a.m. Oct. 28, police said.

Stanton L. Green Jr., 24, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of domestic battery on the 1200 block of Kings Circle at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 28, police said.

Carlos Guevara, 29, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of domestic battery and for three outstanding warrants, following an incident on the 300 block of East Forest Avenue at about 2 a.m. Oct. 28, police said.

Robert P. Dereadt, 29, of West Chicago, was arrested on charges of domestic battery on the 900 block of Hillview Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Nov. 2, police said.
